“Hey, Jenny…. I ran across this photo today and thought it might be something you’d like!” Jenny has been getting little messages like this in her inbox since January this year, after she and Brandon decided to have me photograph their wedding in September. And I am soooo glad they did! These two are a perfect match, and I couldn’t have had more fun working with them. (Plus it was great having a bride to share all of the vintage, eclectic and otherwise non-traditional wedding ideas I love with!)
These two were married in Alton, IL at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and the reception followed at the Loading Dock in Grafton (which just so happens to be home to a flea market on the weekends, a great place to get vintage details!). Between the ceremony and reception we stopped at Pere Marquette State Park for some fun, relaxed wedding party photos.
Jenny took this antique vanity and used it for a candy bar, and filled the drawers with necklaces and things the kids could keep. It was a huge hit!
